Angélica Zapata Cabernet Franc 2020 is a refined and expressive red wine that showcases the character of high-altitude Mendoza vineyards. Crafted from selected parcels in Agrelo and Paraje Altamira, it reflects the elegance and structure that define Catena Zapata’s approach to winemaking.
Bright ruby red with subtle violet hues, it opens with intense, concentrated aromas of cassis, ripe red currants, and layers of vanilla and sweet spices like black pepper and clove. On the palate, it delivers a sweet entry with excellent structure, revealing ripe red fruit notes complemented by hints of eucalyptus and black pepper. The wine is beautifully balanced, with a long, persistent and well-structured finish that highlights its aging potential and finesse.
