DV Catena Malbec-Malbec 2022 is a sophisticated single-varietal blend crafted from Malbec grapes sourced from two of Catena Zapata’s most iconic vineyards. The Angélica Vineyard in Lunlunta delivers ripe plum aromas, softness, and volume on the palate, while the La Pirámide Vineyard in Agrelo adds layers of black fruit and spicy notes of black pepper and clove.
"Intense red in color with violet hues, this wine offers a bouquet of ripe red and black fruits, spice, and delicate floral undertones. The aging in French oak enhances complexity and elegance. On the palate, it is full-bodied and silky, with juicy tannins and a long, velvety finish that reflects the harmony between the two terroirs."
