Description
Altos Las Hormigas Blanco 2024 is a modern, unmasked interpretation of a classic white from Mendoza. Made from traditional varieties such as Chenin Blanc, Pedro Giménez, and Semillón, this blend expresses the pure identity of its terroir with energy and vibrancy. It comes from over 80-year-old vineyards in San Carlos and Paraje Altamira, trained in pergola systems and planted on deep loamy soils at over 1000 meters above sea level.
"Pale yellow with greenish highlights, it opens with a complex nose of white pepper, kumquat, jarilla, white peach, jalapeño, white flowers, and a subtle tropical note reminiscent of passion fruit. The palate is juicy and textured, with bright natural acidity leading the way. It finishes with a saline edge and lingering floral freshness. A vibrant white with low alcohol and lots of personality."
