DV Catena Cabernet-Malbec 2023 is a classic and refined blend that unites the structure of Cabernet Sauvignon with the bold fruitiness of Malbec, striking a perfect balance between power and elegance. The grapes come from two of Catena Zapata’s most iconic vineyards: La Pirámide in Agrelo, which contributes intense spice from the Cabernet, and Angélica in Lunlunta, which offers ripe blackberry notes from the Malbec.
"Deep red with violet hues, the nose reveals aromas of spice, tobacco, vanilla, and liqueur, layered over ripe fruit for great complexity. The palate opens with sweet, juicy flavors, followed by firm structure and soft, round tannins. The finish is long and elegant, with well-integrated oak notes. A perfect match for red meats, game, and sophisticated dishes."
